Our Orchard

Farming for the Long Term

Good almonds take years to grow. Good farming practices take longer.

BFF's orchards are managed with the long term in mind for the trees, the water, the land and the team that works it every day. We don't treat sustainability as a marketing line; it's the only way an orchard keeps producing premium fruit season after season.

Responsible water management

Water is the single biggest input into almond production, and the one we manage most carefully. Our irrigation is planned and monitored to use water efficiently across the growing season, protecting both yield this year and the water resources our orchards will depend on for decades to come.

A hands-on team

Our orchard team is given the authority and the responsibility to make decisions on the ground:

  • adjusting irrigation,

  • monitoring tree health,

  • managing harvest timing

Rather than working purely to a fixed schedule. That's what a genuine culture of ownership looks like in practice, and it's a large part of why our quality stays consistent.
